Excel, We will define a spreadsheet, analyze a spreadsheet’s functions and compare to Access and Word. I would like to play around a little just to show you some of the functions you will be using during this unit before you start today's assignment.
Assignment: Create a print screen of an Excel screen and label it.
1. Paste an Excel screen on to a word document, named Excel Screen Layout. Remember Ctrl/print screen to copy and Ctrl/v to paste.
2. Insert a word art graphic, (found on the insert tab) as a title called "Excel Screen Layout”
3. Label the following objects: Title bar, quick access tool bar, menu bar, formatting toolbar, cell reference, column labels formula bar, row labels, vertical scroll, horizontal scroll, Status bar, Page tabs, and the windows task bar. Use a simple text box for labels. Get your arrows from the shapes menu. Use page 320 in text for help.
